Explore Your City Like Never Before!

What is Open Omaha?

Like a city-wide open house, Open Omaha gives you a behind-the-scenes look at more than 50 of the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro’s most fascinating spaces and places.

Presented by NuStyle Development, this one-weekend-only event is inspired by similar concepts that have grown into not-to-be-missed annual celebrations in cities like Denver, Minneapolis, and Chicago.

Open Omaha is built for all-ages, with spaces sure to pique anyone’s curiosity: From civic icons to creative enclaves, and historic landmarks to cutting-edge workspaces, this curated showcase is open to all.

August 6th & 7th | 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

(Check the app to confirm specific venue hours.)

We’re excited to prioritize accessibility from the start of Open Omaha!

Venues were asked to analyze their space on elements of accessibility: COVID-19 restrictions, ADA accessible routes, accessible bathrooms, quiet rooms, accessible seating, and onsite parking. These accessibility advisements are found alongside each venue description in the Open Omaha app.

Please note: We cannot guarantee the accuracy of each site’s self-analysis of these features; all self-evaluations are subject to bias, misinterpretation of standards, or accidental inaccuracy. Omaha by Design as a nonprofit entity and as individual authors does not hold liability for the accessibility or inaccessibility of site participants for Open Omaha 2022.
