Open Omaha is everyone’s chance to catch a behind-the-scenes look at the fascinating spaces that shape our city.

For one weekend only — August 6th – 7th — dozens of historic landmarks, creative spaces, sacred sites, and other hidden gems will open their doors in a city-wide showcase of the uniqueness that makes the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro such a marvelous place.  

This inaugural event, facilitated by Omaha by Design, is inspired by similar concepts in cities like Denver, Minneapolis, and Chicago.

Open Omaha is curated to inspire, built for all-ages, and FREE to attend.

Spread across more than 50 intriguing sites, Open Omaha invites you to join and EXPLORE YOUR CITY. Most sites will be open from 10am-5pm each day.
